Weekly Kids Art Group

Service Description

For children from 5 years up to 12 years. This group is focussed on the process instead of the finished product, making it a safe space for intuitive and process based art making to help support emotional regulation, explore feelings, and become more self aware. Our littles will have the opportunity to explore a variety of different mediums and the freedom to truly explore their creativity and connect to the language they naturally use to express themselves – art and play. They will be building their art skills in painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpting and more. While the children are guided in these classes, they also have the freedom to make their own unique creative choices throughout and they are supported in their individual art journey. All materials and supplies are included in the price. Children are welcome to bring their own drinks and snacks along. If children need to come straight after school, they are welcome to arrive earlier (from 1:30pm) and bring their lunch to eat before the class starts and enjoy some time in the garden or extra free time in the studio.
